Summer Tomato Sauce
Summer Tomato Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 ripe plum tomatoes, cut into 1/4-inch cubes, 1/2 c. coarsely chopped pitted black olives, 3 scallions, cut into thin diagonal slices, 1 clove garlic, minced fine and salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, combine the tomatoes, olives, scallions, garlic, salt, pepper and basil.
Gently toss in olive oil.
