Sugared Nuts
Sugared Nuts is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. light brown sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla, 4 c. pecan halves, 1 c. white sugar and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine sugar and sour cream in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
Cook without stirring to 234Β° on candy thermometer or until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Stir gently until all nuts are coated.
Pour onto waxed paper.
Separate the nuts with a fork.
Let dry.
Store in an airtight container.
Yield: 4 cups.
