Stuffed Pepper Cups
Stuffed Pepper Cups is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 medium green peppers, 1/3 c. onion, chopped, dash of pepper, 1/2 c. water and 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cut off tops of peppers; remove seed and membranes.
Precook pepper cups in boiling salted water about 5 minutes.
Drain. Sprinkle inside cups with salt.
Cook beef and onion until meat is lightly browned.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add tomatoes, water, rice and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and simmer until rice is tender, about 15 minutes.
Stir in cheese.
Stuff peppers. Stand upright in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2-inch baking dish.
Bake uncovered at 350Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
