Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 basket fresh mushrooms, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1/4 c. sherry or cooking wine, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Clean and cut out stems on mushrooms.
Boil caps in water for 5 minutes.
Dice stems and fry in butter; add onion, sherry, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Fry until brown and crispy.
Add Italian bread crumbs until mixture is solid.
Spoon into caps.
Place in buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle with grated Mozzarella cheese. Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes.
