Stuffed Mushrooms
Stuffed Mushrooms is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 24 medium to large mushrooms, 1 c. margarine or butter, 6 tbsp. chopped green pepper, 6 tbsp. chopped onion and 3 c. fresh bread cubes with crust, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 350°.
Rinse mushrooms and break off stems. Chop stems and set aside.
Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in skillet; saute bottoms of caps for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Remove and place in baking pan.
Heat rest of butter and saute stems, green peppers and onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in bread, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Fill each cap with mixture.
Bake 15 minutes in 350° oven.
