Stuffed Green Peppers
Stuffed Green Peppers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 large peppers, 4 c. boiling water (salted), 1/2 lb. ground beef, 2 tbsp. chopped onion and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Cut off stem end of each pepper.
Remove seed.
Cook peppers in water for 5 minutes and drain.
Cook and stir ground meat and onion in medium skillet until onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
Stir in salt, garlic salt, rice and 1/2 cup of the tomato sauce; heat through.
Lightly stuff each pepper. Stand peppers in an ungreased dish, pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers.
Cover; bake for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.
