Stuffed Cabbage
Stuffed Cabbage is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 lb. ground pork, 1 c. boiled rice, 1 medium onion, diced fine and 1 head cabbage, wilted (save juice), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Wilt leaves of cabbage.
Mix beef, pork, boiled rice, salt, pepper, allspice and onion and form into patties.
Roll patties in cabbage leaves and fasten with toothpicks. Butter skillet and put rolls in.
Brown; remove and place in baking dish. Bake 1 hour at 325Β°.
Mix 1 tablespoon flour, cream and juice in skillet. Cook until thickened.
Pour over cabbage rolls and serve.
