Strips Of Beef Casserole is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 to 1 1/2 lb. round steak, cut in thin strips, 1/4 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 can tomatoes and 1 can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Brown meat in shortening and add all ingredients except flour, 1/2 cup of water and sour cream.
Cook slowly until tender.
Mix flour and 1/2 cup water; stir slowly into meat mixture.
Add sour cream and stir.
Pour into casserole dish.

Bake at 425Β° for 20 to 25 minutes.
