Strawberry Glace Pie
Strawberry Glace Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9-inch baked pie shell, 6 c. fresh strawberries, 1 c. sugar, 3 tbsp. cornstarch and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Bake pie shell.
Mash enough berries to measure 1 cup.
Stir together sugar and cornstarch. Gradually stir in water and crushed berries.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute; cool.
Beat cream cheese until smooth.
Spread on bottom of baked pie shell. Fill shell with remaining berries; pour cooked berry mixture on top. Chill at least 3 hours or until set.
Serve with whipped cream.
