Strawberries and Cream Cake
Strawberries And Cream Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. cake flour, 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 2 c. white sugar, 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin and 1 c. butter, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
In large bowl, beat sugar, gelatin and butter until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beat well with each addition.
Mix flour and baking powder, and beat alternately with milk into the sugar mixture.
Fold in 1 tsp. vanilla and pureed strawberries.
Divide equally into the three prepared cake pans.
Bake for 25 minutes in preheated oven, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
Cool for 10 minutes in pans, then remove from pans and cool completely.
