Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. squash, sliced, 1/2 medium size onion, chopped, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. water and 1 c. cracker crumbs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put squash, onion, salt and water together; cook until tender. Drain.
Put in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
Add cracker crumbs, egg, cheese soup and 1/2 stick butter.
Melt the other 1/2 stick of butter; stir in Shredded Wheat.
Stir until well coated; sprinkle over squash mixture.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and top is golden brown.
