Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. yellow squash, diced, pepper to taste, 2 tbsp. grated onion, 1/3 c. grated carrots and 1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup (undiluted), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook squash in 1 1/2 cups water to which 3/4 teaspoon salt has been added for about ten minutes.
Drain and add next five ingredients.
Butter a 2-quart baking dish and put 1 cup of stuffing in the bottom.
Add squash mixture; top with remaining stuffing and dot with butter.
Also sprinkle with almonds if desired.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
