Squash Casserole
Squash Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 or 5 c. sliced and boiled yellow squash, drained, 3 eggs, 1 (8 oz.) sour cream, 3 tbsp. flour and 1 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Grease a 12 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish and layer 1/2 the squash.
Use salt and pepper to taste.
Separate eggs.
Beat egg yolk until thick; stir in sour cream and flour.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Fold into yolks.
Layer this mixture over squash; add layer of onions.
Layer remaining squash, cheese and bacon.
Add bread crumbs on top and paprika, if desired.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 20 minutes.
