Spinach and Artichoke Dip
Spinach And Artichoke Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1 medium onion, chopped fine, 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen, chopped spinach, thawed and drained well, 1 (8 oz.) sour cream and 1 c. shredded monterey jack, divided, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt butter in saucepan on medium heat. Add onion and cook until soft.
Stir in artichokes, spinach, cream cheese, 3/4 cup Monterey Jack and Parmesan cheeses, sour cream and optional Tabasco. Stir until cheeses are melted and mixture is well blended.
Pour mixture into a 1-quart casserole dish. Top with some of the extra cheeses.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes. Serve with crackers or corn chips.
