Spicy Stuffed Mandarins
Spicy Stuffed Mandarins is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 mandarins, 4 pitted dates, cut in half, 1 c. sugar, 3/4 c. water and 1/4 c. light corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Wash mandarins, cover with water and simmer 20 minutes.
Drain and cool enough to handle.
Cut off 1/4-inch top of mandarin.
Put half of date in core of each mandarin.
Mix all ingredients and heat to boiling, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Place mandarins in a baking dish.
Pour 1/2 teaspoon of syrup over date and mandarin flesh, replace top.
Cover mandarins with remaining syrup, bake for 20 minutes in 350Β° oven. Cool mandarins in syrup, drain before serving.
Serves 8.
