Spicy Brisket
Spicy Brisket is an easy dinner. Made with 4-6 lb. beef brisket, allspice, 5 beef bouillon cubes and cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Place brisket, fat side up on rack of broiler pan.
Fill pan with water.
Sprinkle side of brisket with Allspice.
Bake 6 hours at 275°.
Wrap in foil and chill.
Pour juice in jar and refrigerate.
Slice beef 1/4 inch across grain and place in baking dish.
Take fat off of juice.
Heat juice and bouillon cubes and thicken with cornstarch.
Pour gravy over meat.
Bake for 1 hour at 350°.
Tastes like prime rib.
The gravy is great over mashed potatoes.
