Spiced Rice
Spiced Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/2 c. onions, chopped fine, 1 c. chopped green peppers, 1/2 c. raisins and 2 c. rice (not instant), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter.
Add onions, green pepper and raisins; saute until tender.
Stir in rice and spices.
Brown slightly.
Add broth; mix well.
Bring to a boil.
Cover with tight fitting lid; simmer for 14 minutes.
