Special Fudge
Special Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. chocolate chips, 1 c. margarine, 1 c. marshmallow crème, 4 1/2 c. sugar and 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Butter a 9 x 13-inch glass pan.
In a large bowl, combine chocolate chips, margarine and Marshmallow Crème; set aside.
In a large, heavy saucepan, combine the sugar and evaporated milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches soft ball stage (238°), 12 to 15 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour mixture in slow stream into chocolate chip mixture. Stir constantly until chocolate is completely melted and fudge loses its gloss.
Stir in vanilla and nuts.
Spread in prepared pan and cool for several hours.
Makes 5 pounds.
