Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce
Spaghetti With White Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans (7 1/2 oz. size) minced clams, 1/4 c. olive or salad oil, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 2 or 3 cloves garlic, crushed and 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Drain clams, reserving liquid.
Set aside.
In skillet, slowly heat oil and butter.
Add garlic and saute until golden.
Remove from heat.
Stir in clam liquid, parsley and salt; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
Add clams; simmer 3 minutes.
Serve hot over spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
