Sourdough Biscuits
Sourdough Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sift together the flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Rub in the butter, then add the Sourdough Starter and mix.
Turn dough onto a lightly floured board; knead lightly until satiny. Roll dough 1/2-inch thick, then cut with a floured cutter.
Place biscuits on a well-greased pan; brush tops with soft lard.
Let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
Bake in a moderate oven (350Β°) until brown.
