Sour Cream Yellow Squash
Sour Cream Yellow Squash is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. yellow squash, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1/4 c. butter, melted, 1/4 c. green onions, sliced (tops and bottoms) and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cook squash in a small amount of water until just tender, 5 to 10 minutes.
Drain slightly and drain again.
Combine with sour cream, 1/4 cup butter, onions, salt and pepper.
Place in a buttered 1 quart casserole.
Mix together bread crumbs and cheese; toss with 3 tablespoons melted butter and sprinkle over squash. Bake in a 350Β° oven for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
