Cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add flour, 1/2 cup at a time. Add sour cream after 2 cups flour. When all flour is blended, add vanilla (beat by hand) approximately 150 strokes.
Bake at 275Β° until done (when toothpick inserted comes out clean).
