Sour Cream Pound Cake
Sour Cream Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine), 3 c. sugar, 6 eggs, separated, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. lemon or almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time.
Add flavorings.
Add soda to flour.
Alternately add flour and sour cream to creamed mixture.
Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into mixture.
Pour into a greased and floured tube pan and bake in a preheated oven at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
It should have a nice brown crust. Turn cake out immediately upon taking it from the oven.
