Sour Cream Pound Cake

Cream the butter and sugar.
Separate eggs.
Add yolks, one at a time. Sift flour, soda and 1/4 teaspoon salt 3 times.
Add alternately with sour cream.
When thoroughly mixed, add vanilla and lemon juice.
Fold in egg whites plus 1/4 teaspoon salt which have previously been beaten stiff. Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
