Sour Cream Pound Cake
Sour Cream Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks creamery butter or oleo, 3 c. sugar, 1/4 tsp. soda, 6 eggs and 1/2 tsp. almond extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy.
Add soda and flavorings, then add alternately eggs and small amount of flour and sour cream until all ingredients are used.
Mix just until well blended.
Do not overbeat.
Pour into 3-quart tube pan that has been greased and dusted with flour.
Bake in preheated oven at 300Β° for about 1 1/2 hours.
(This has a crunch top which makes it different from most pound cakes.)
