Soft Pretzels
Soft Pretzels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. warm water, 2 pkg. yeast, 2 tsp. salt, 1/4 c. soft margarine and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Proof the yeast in the warm water.
Add the salt, margarine, egg and flour.
Chill 2 to 24 hours.
Divide the dough into half. Cut each half into 16 pieces.
Roll each piece 20-inches long. Knot into pretzel shape and place on greased pan.
Blend egg yolk and water to brush on pretzels.
Sprinkle on salt.
Rise the dough 1 hour.
Bake for 25 minutes at 400Β°.
