Snow Peas and Carrots
Snow Peas And Carrots is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. snow peas or sugar snap peas, 1 lb. carrots, salt and pepper to taste and 6 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
String peas, if necessary.
Peel carrots and cut in sticks, about 1/2-inch thick.
Cook carrots in boiling water for 5 minutes or until barely tender.
Drain.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in a skillet.
Add carrots and toss until well coated.
Heat through and season to taste.
Arrange in the center of a platter.
Keep warm.
Melt 3 tablespoons butter in another skillet.
Saute peas quickly until well coated with butter.
Cover pan and cook 2 minutes.
Serve peas around carrots.
