Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (part butter or margarine), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. flour and 2 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon to roll dough balls in. Heat oven to 400Β°.
Mix shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly.
Blend flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt; stir in. Add vanilla. Shape dough in 1-inch balls.
Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
