Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft shortening (part butter), 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs, 2 3/4 c. sifted flour and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add to creamed mixture.
Roll into balls the size of a small walnut.
Roll in mixture of 2 teaspoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until lightly brown but still soft at 400Β° approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
Yields 4 dozen cookies.
