Snickerdoodles
Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1/2 c. shortening, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and 2 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix butter, shortening, 1 1/2 cups sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda and salt.
Shape dough by teaspoonful and roll into balls.
Roll the balls in a mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
Makes 5 dozen.
