Skillet Meat Balls
Skillet Meat Balls is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 egg, 1 small onion, grated, 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs and 2 tsp. cornstarch, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix beef, eggs, onion, bread crumbs, cornstarch, salt, pepper, ginger, nutmeg and evaporated milk in a large bowl.
Form lightly into about 30 walnut-size balls.
Brown in melted shortening in a large frying pan.
Mix onion soup and water.
Pour over meatballs. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
(I use a small can of milk and a bit of water to make 8 ounces.)
