Sister Mary Augusta's Cinnamon Buns
Sister Mary Augusta'S Cinnamon Buns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. spry or crisco, 3 eggs, 3 tsp. salt and 2 c. cold mashed potatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream sugar and Spry or Crisco.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add salt, potatoes and potato water.
Mix well.
Add 4 cups of flour and dry yeast; mix well.
Add 4 more cups flour.
Knead.
Add enough flour to stiffen and does not stick (can be a lot of flour) to fingers.
Place in warm place until double in bulk (2 1/2 to 3 hours).
Take portion, roll and spread with butter or oleo; sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll as you do a jellyroll. Cut in 1 1/2-inch pieces.
Place in buttered pans that have the following mixture in them.
