Shrimp Newburg
Shrimp Newburg is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. butter, 1 3/4 tbsp. flour, 1 c. cream, 3 tbsp. tomato catsup and 3/4 tbsp. worcestershire sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Melt butter.
Stir in flour until blended; stir in slowly the cream.
When sauce is thick, stir in catsup and Worcestershire sauce.
Remove shells and clean 1 pound of cooked shrimp.
Add to the sauce; stir together until they are well heated.
Season with salt, paprika and a few grains of cayenne pepper.
Immediately before serving, add 2 tablespoons sherry.
Serve in a grits ring or over rice.
