Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. fresh cleaned shrimp, 5 tbsp. oil, 5 tbsp. flour, 1 onion, chopped and 1 bell pepper, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Brown oil and flour until "chocolate" color.
Stir constantly on medium heat.
Add chopped onion, green pepper, celery and garlic.
Saute until tender (3 or 4 minutes).
Add tomato sauce and water.
Cook 30 minutes.
Add shrimp.
Cook 12 to 15 minutes longer.
Serve over cooked rice.
