Shortbread
Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter (not margarine), 2/3 c. sugar and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Cream butter and sugar; add flour.
Work it in with your hands.
Divide into 2 or 4 parts and pat out 1/2-inch thick on ungreased cookie sheet.
Roll top smooth with a rolling pin. Prick generously with fork.
Put into cold oven.
Set temperature at 325Β°.
Bake 35 to 50 minutes (depending on oven) until light golden color.
Cut into wedges while hot.
Store in tightly covered tin.
