Shoo-Fly Cake
Shoo-Fly Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 c. crisco, 1 c. molasses (green label) and 2 c. warm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Crumb flour, sugar and Crisco together with pastry blender. Reserve 1 cup crumbs for topping.
Add molasses, water and baking soda.
Pour batter into 13 x 9-inch greased, floured baking dish. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on top.
Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and flour tube pan or Bundt pan.
In bowl, sift flour, sugar, soda, salt and cinnamon.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until mixed.
Hand mix only.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Comes out very moist.
