Shepherd's Pie
Shepherd'S Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. butter, 2 onions, sliced, 4 c. diced beef or lamb, 1/4 c. flour and 2 c. beef broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a large saucepan, heat the butter and saute the onions for 5 minutes. Add beef or lamb.
Sprinkle with flour.
Blend in beef broth and tomatoes. Stir over medium heat until bubbly and thickened. Simmer 5 minutes.
Mix in carrots, peas and herbs. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
