Shelby's Apple Crisp
Shelby'S Apple Crisp is an easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 large tart apples (jonathan or mcintosh work best), 1 stick butter or margarine, sugar/cinnamon mixture (enough to make 1/2 c.) and 1 box white cake mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Using one end of the stick of butter or margarine grease the sides and bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Peel, core and slice the apples and distribute evenly in the pan. Sprinkle the sugar/cinnamon mixture over the apples.
Using your hand, sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the entire pan, covering the apples (you should use 1/2 to 3/4 of the cake mix). Using the remaining butter or margarine dot the top of the cake mix.
Bake 45 to 60 minutes until top is browned.
