Shanghai Beef
Shanghai Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 pounds boneless round or sirloin steak, cut into strips or chunks, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 1/2 c. beef broth and 1 green pepper, cut into strips or chucks, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put oil in pan, add steak strips.
Brown.
When steak is fully browned, add cornstarch to pan.
Mix until cornstarch has soaked up all juices.
Add beef broth, green and red pepper strips, bean sprouts, soy sauce and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
When boiling, add minute rice.
Remove from heat and cover pan.
Let stand 5 minutes or until rice is fully cooked.
Serve.
