Seven Minute Frosting
Seven Minute Frosting is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar, 1/3 c. cold water, 2 egg whites, 2 tsp. light corn syrup and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In top of double boiler combine sugar, cold water, egg whites, corn syrup and a dash of salt.
Beat 30 seconds on low speed of mixer.
Place over boiling water (upper pan should not touch water).
Cook about 7 minutes while beating constantly on high speed of mixer or until frosting forms stiff peaks.
Remove from heat.
Add vanilla.
Beat 2 to 3 minutes or until of spreading consistency.
