Scottish Shortbread
Scottish Shortbread is an easy dinner. Made with 2 c. unsalted butter, softened, 1 c. sugar and 5 c. unsifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and sugar.
Beat in flour 1 cup at a time.
Divide dough into four equal pieces.
Put each piece in round 8-inch pan; prick dough with fork.
Bake in 275Β° oven for 1 hour or until pale brown.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cut into wedges.
Sprinkle with sugar.
