Schaum Torte
Schaum Torte is an easy dinner. Made with 6 egg whites, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 tsp. vinegar or cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
👨🍳 Instructions
Beat egg whites until very stiff.
Gradually add sugar, vanilla and vinegar.
Keep beating until no longer grainy.
Pour into ungreased pan of choice (spring-form, Bundt).
Bake at 275° to 300° for about 40 minutes.
Cool and serve with whipped cream and fresh fruit.
