Scalloped Potatoes
Scalloped Potatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. potatoes, thinly sliced (4 or 5), 3 tbsp. margarine, 1 onion, chopped fine, salt and pepper to taste and 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt butter on low and saute onions.
Add flour and milk and mix together and cool until slightly thick.
Butter baking dish and put a layer of potatoes on the bottom.
Add white sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
Add grated cheese.
Layer until dish is filled; top with grated cheese.
Bake at 350Β° for one hour and thirty minutes.
