Scalloped Onions
Scalloped Onions is an easy dinner. Made with large onions or small whole onions, 1 green pepper, sliced to form rings, 1/4 c. margarine, 4 tbsp. flour and 2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Boil onions or onion rings gently until almost done.
Saute green pepper in 1/4 cup margarine.
Remove peppers from saute pan and add 4 tablespoons flour and 2 cups milk to make a medium white sauce.
Place onions and peppers together with white sauce in a baking dish.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake 30 minutes at 375Β°.
