Scalloped Meatballs
Scalloped Meatballs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sliced potatoes, 1 c. sliced carrots, 1 medium-size onion, sliced, 2 tsp. salt and 1 lb. ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Parboil potatoes, carrots, onion and 1 teaspoon salt for 10 minutes.
Drain and set aside.
Mix ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, milk, thyme and 1 teaspoon salt.
Shape into balls.
Brown meatballs in margarine.
Remove meatballs from frying pan and pour off all drippings.
In same frying pan stir soup and sour cream; heat just until hot.
Layer half of vegetables, meatballs and soup mixture in a baking dish.
Repeat the layers and bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.
