Cook carrots in salted water.
Meanwhile, cook onion in 3 tablespoons butter until soft.
Stir in soup, salt, pepper, cheese and carrots.
Place in greased 2-quart casserole.
Toss bread stuffing, mixed with 1/2 cup melted butter and spoon over carrots. Bake in moderate oven (350Β°) until thoroughly heated, about 20 minutes.
