Sausage Rice Casserole
Sausage Rice Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 green peppers, 1 c. celery, 1/4 c. soy sauce, 2 c. minute rice and 1 c. mushrooms, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Brown and saute together green peppers, onion, celery and sausage.
Drain, if necessary.
Stir together soy sauce, water and rice; add to sausage mixture.
Put in 2-quart casserole.
Put mushrooms on top.
Put frozen vegetables on top of mushrooms.
Cover and bake until liquid is absorbed, about 45 minutes.
Stir vegetables in, let stand 10 minutes and serve.
