Sausage Casserole
Sausage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sausage (1/2 mild and 1/2 hot), 1 large chopped onion, 1/2 large chopped green pepper, 1/2 c. chopped celery and 4 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Brown, crumble and drain sausage.
Add onion, green pepper, and celery; set aside.
Bring water to a boil.
Add soup mix and rice to boiling water and boil for 7 minutes.
Add sausage and vegetable mix to soup and rice.
Pour into a buttered casserole dish.
Add sliced almonds on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
