Sausage-Bean Casserole
Sausage-Bean Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen lima beans, 3 (about 19 oz. each) cans baked beans (6 c.), 3 (about 15 oz. each) cans kidney beans, drained (5 c.), 1 lb. italian link sausage or pork link sausages and 1/2 lb. smoked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook lima beans as directed on package; drain.
Turn into ungreased 4 1/2-quart casserole.
Add baked beans and kidney beans.
In covered skillet, simmer sausage in small amount of water for 5 minutes.
Drain liquid from skillet.
Panfry sausage until brown on all sides.
Cut each sausage into 2 or 3 pieces. Add with ham to beans.
Stir together remaining ingredients and pour over casserole.
Gently mix all ingredients.
Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour.
Heat oven to 400Β°.
