Sauerkraut Roast
Sauerkraut Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lean boneless 3 lb. roast, 1 (15 oz.) can sauerkraut, rinsed and drained, 1 (15 oz.) can tomatoes, drained, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar and 1 large apple, cored and sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Put apple slices in crock-pot.
Cut roast in half and put on top of apples.
Mix other ingredients, except gravy mix, and pour over meat.
Cook on low 8 hours or until done.
Then stir in gravy mix.
Cover and cook 15 minutes longer.
Serve over hot mashed potatoes with fresh carrots on the side.
